Sagrada Familia is at the top of everyone's lists for a must-visit location in Barcelona, Spain. That is for a good reason, too. It was one of the most interesting, beautiful, and historic locations I visited while studying abroad. It is rich in history, spanning over 100 years of its construction. Every part of the church is carefully thought out and has meaning behind it.

A Visit to Palau Güell, Antoni GaudÃ's Early Work in Barcelona
This house-turned-museum is located near the Gothic Quarter and just steps away from La Rambla. It was built 1886-1890 by Antoni Gaudà for Eusebi Güell, so it holds quite a bit of history, if for no other reason than the age of the house. However, this commission was one of Antoni GaudÃ's earlier works that contains the essence that all of his other works exude.
